Vehicle Description
This 1969 Firebird 400 has undergone a mechanical and cosmetic restoration with approximately 1500 miles driven since it’s completion. The 400 motor was professionally rebuilt to stock H.O. specifications and features a functioning Ram Air set up with hood tachometer and 1969 Trans Am long tube cast iron exhaust manifolds.
A Tremec 5- speed manual transmission was installed with a hydraulic clutch set up and runs through a 3.73 Posi traction rear differential.
Prior to the restoration, this was an Arizona car with absolutely no corrosion. It retains all of its original body panels and the car was painted in the factory option color of palladium silver.
The interior was also redone featuring new seat upholstery, new carpet, door panels, and its original dashboard is in excellent condition. This car runs and drives extremely well, very solid, tight and rattle free.
It also has a ton of power and is a pleasure to drive .
