Vehicle Description This 1966 Plymouth Barracuda was modified in the style of a “gasser” drag racer around 2008, when the car was mounted on a rotisserie, stripped, and refinished and then a replacement overbored 440ci V8 and a four-speed manual transmission were installed. The rear end was tubbed to accommodate 31×18.50" tires on 15" Weld Racing wheels, and 26×7.50" tires, 15" Jegs wheels, and a straight axle are fitted at the front of the vehicle. Other equipment includes an 8¾” rear end, Moser axles, Richmond 4.10:1 gears, power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a wheelie bar, a fuel cell, a cutout-equipped dual exhaust system, an 850-cfm carburetor, a Weiand intake manifold, and aftermarket gauges plus a black-upholstered interior. The current owner acquired the car in 2019. This modified Barracuda—nicknamed “The Gasser Passer”—has clear title for sale may trade. |
